Hawaii Learning Resource will partner with Assets School to provide a free educator workshop, “Project Read: Written Expression Module,” on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hawaii Preparatory Academy Village Campus Dining Hall in Waimea.

Hawaii Learning Resource will partner with Assets School to provide a free educator workshop, “Project Read: Written Expression Module,” on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hawaii Preparatory Academy Village Campus Dining Hall in Waimea.

The workshop is designed to help educators teach students to express their thoughts through writing using multisensory strategies and materials.

Robyn McMullin, curriculum specialist at Assets School, an independent school for gifted and/or dyslexic children located in Honolulu, will present the workshop. She is a certified member of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators and a certified Project Read Written Expression Facilitator. She has provided numerous workshops and trainings for both Hawaii educators and parents.
